Electrolysis
Electrolysis has been around for over 100 years and it is the only form of hair removal that has been TGA and FDA approved as a permanent hair reduction. At CURASKIN we offer electrolysis facial hair removal only.
How does electrolysis work?
Electrolysis treatment is a form of electrical epilation where a single-use, disposable probe is inserted into the hair follicle (a natural opening in the skin) and a minimal amount of current is delivered to the root of the follicle to destroy it. All modalities will affect only the active hair follicle, making this a direct route to target unwanted hair.
Galvanic Electrolysis - Galvanic is an earliest form of electrolysis. The direct current creates a chemical response in the hair follicle turning the salts in the skin to a substance called lye. This creates a chemical disruption to the stem cell production and blood supply to the hair. This method is extremely effective but slow and painful for the client.
Thermolysis Electrolysis– Thermolysis uses shortwave radio frequency or AC current. Thermolysis causes the water molecules by your hair to rapidly vibrate, which produces heat. When enough heat is created, thermolysis restricts the stem cells and blood supply that cause the hair growth.
At CuraSkin we use Blend Electrolysis – This method combines both galvanic and thermolysis into one process. The heat from thermolysis heats the chemical created in galvanic to speed up the process. This is a highly effective modality that is used only by trained electrologists. Combining both modalities you will get the achieve desired results with less pain and faster removal of hairs.
